Dream in a Garden — Mirror Xiamen
BANMOO was invited for exhibition under the theme Designing & Crafting in 2014 – BANMOO’s Dream in a Garden, at the First Design Art Week by CIID (China Institute of Interior Design), China’s most authoritative institute for interior designing. Six round-shaped mirrors transformed an old storehouse in Xiamen into a bizarre space. A walk amid the mirrors and furniture pieces felt like a walk in a Chinese garden.
As Lv Yongzhong put it, a piece of furniture is like a mirror – it reflects the state of the user. When one sits squarely in the chair, one could see a reflection of the real self.
By rediscovering the Nature, beaut is displayed.
