Inspired by the classic round-back armchair from the Ming Dynasty, this one has a lower seat. The back is also lower, but with no compromise on the support for the sitter’s back. The octangle shape of the seat is inspired by the “Flower Window” in traditional Chinese gardens. The sitter can either sit cross-legged to meditate, or sit leisurely enjoying tea or a book.
