The hard turns and tall back give the chair a solemn and prudent look, while the curves lend it a soft variety. The arms join the seat with the traditional Chinese swallowtail joints to give the chair extra sturdiness. With his background as an architect, the designer was able to introduce the beam-column structure into this chair for one more layer of endurance against heavy wear and tear. A chair that helps the sitter to sit uprightly elegant.
