Cro-uching Tiger & Hidden Dragon

Designed in 2012, Morado+Gold foil

This screen is manually made with thousands of Huzhou writing brushes, with gold foil on the back and solid wood as the frame. The open and close ends of the writing brushes reveal a dragon (and in case of the other one in the pair, a tiger) whose pattern comes from the Wadang of the Han Dynasty.
